Lab Supervisor for Energy Industry

We are hiring position of Lab supervisor for Energy Industry

Due to continued growth, we have an exciting opportunity for lab supervisor to join our Petroleum Lab of Caleb Brett Business Line, in Ho Chi Minh City. We are looking for motivated and talents at all levels of experience to join our team on a permanent basis and fulfil the following responsibilities:

 

Role and Responsibilities:     

 

  • Analysis all samples related petroleum products
  • Conduct analytical tests and related activities in accordance with approved standards, methods and report the results of the products: liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), petroleum products, diesel oil (DO), kerosene (KO), fuel oil (FO), jet A1, gasoline, lubricants, solvent, crude oil, organic liquids, alcohol, natural gas, caustic soda.
  • Responsible for daily operating of lab in respect of testing in an efficient.
  • Ensure the daily workload meets the agreed schedule.
  • Ensure all testing are carried out at the most punctuality, accuracy and are strictly followed approved standards, methods
  • Ensure the laboratory is run most safely and its activities will not affect human health and environment in conformity with HSE policy.
  • Ensure the maintenance and calibration of testing equipment are properly implemented.
  • Built, develop, and maintain a quality system ISO 17025, 5S, HSE according to regulation.
  • Operate, control & train the technicians relating to testing equipment.
  • Ensure all work is performed in accordance with the quality management system.
  • Monitor the activities of the laboratory.
  • Assist Laboratory Manager to instruct and control the laboratory technicians to ensure a smooth and proper flow of work.
  • Assist Laboratory Manager on training of new/ junior technician.
  • Assess staff qualifications.
  • Operate and control the list of equipment.
  • Monitor and report laboratory equipment status.
  • Built, control document the equipment manual, SOP.
  • Ensure document and test methods are timely updated.
  • General guidelines for analytical method validation
  • Develop new test methods.
  • Develop, maintain, and review method approval records for all laboratory tests.
  • Approve the analysis results, test methods and laboratory work instruction, equipment manual.
  • Willing to travel for business.
  • Perform other works assigned by Lab Manager.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Understand petroleum products.
  • At least 3 years’ experience time working in chemical laboratory
  • Graduated University (Petrochemistry)
  • Language required: English
  • Competency: Analyst still
